About
The Heart of Art
The biggest failure in life is not failure itself, it is the fear of failure that prevents us from succeeding. As a teacher, this is not only the hardest lesson to teach, but also the most important. Despite the many challenges that my students face with the pressure of their peers, regulating their emotions, fears about what will happen after graduation, and insecurities, art can be used as a tool to empower students to not only learn more about themselves, but to come to know others in the world as well. Art is a powerful subject - and it is one that feeds the soul, the mind, and the heart if we give our students the tools and patience.
