Glass art is a tradition that has been passed down from maestro to apprentice for centuries. As students learned about this deep tradition, they tried their hands at glass fusing. Students learned how to score, break, and grind glass to create colorful coasters and bowls. Students took inspiration from glass artists Dale Chihuly, Karen LaMonte, and Murano glass blowers.
