Pottery/Sculpture 1-3 students explored the art of glass casting for the first time. Each student created a ceramic mold for the project. Students then filled their ceramic molds with glass frit which were fired in the kiln again to create glass medallions. We learned about glass artists Dale Chihuly, Karen LaMonte, and Murano glass blowers.
