For this STEAM lesson, students learned about the career of biomedical artists including the college course work involved, the purpose and value of biomedical art, and career options for those wishing to enter into that field. As students learned about biomedical art as a career, students worked on a project from two project options. The two options were for students to focus on skeletal anatomy or students could choose to focus on the anatomical details and texture of animals. These two project options yielded very diverse results.
