Workshop Details

Food for the Soul
Description: In this workshop, you will learn how to teach your students about Native American culture “tastefully” by introducing them to four different Native American tribes and their traditional dishes. As part of this workshop, you will create a collage, using different dried food goods found primarily in North America. A major discussion in this workshop is how to teach culture respectfully as well as how to incorporate differentiation naturally in teaching practices.
