This past spring, the YALE School NJ partnered with the Penn Museum to present the Second Annual Tri-State DisAbility Art Show. Penn Museum educators from the K-12 Learning and Community Engagement team had the honor of judging a juried art category for the show. Our art category was themed around The Stories We Wear exhibition, and student created art inspired by fashion and adornment. Young artist, Lance Bannister, was awarded third place for his contributions. As an award-winning artist, Bannister’s works were then displayed at Camden County College in June and at an extended showing at Perkins Center for the Arts Collingswood Gallery over the summer.
